Ladies and gentlemen, summer in Mauritius has just begun!

Summer is on here in Mauritius and the sun is making no mistake to shower the island with unlimited warmth. I am here in Port Louis and believe me, it’s really too hot. When you think about it, you know that this is just the beginning of summer in Mauritius. Nonetheless, the sun is shining hard, so a walk on the streets of Port Louis will most certainly get your clothes wet with perspiration.
As the sun almost doesn’t fail to show itself everyday, one specific thing springs to mind each morning: the sea. Mauritius is surrounded with so many heavenly beaches and it pains when you think about having to work from nine to five instead of relaxing under the shade of a tree and admiring the crystal clear water and powdery white sandy beach. Anyway this is a wonderful idea which has little but no chance to happen on a weekday unless it’s a holiday! Anyone will agree work comes first.
With the summer within the reach of everyone in Mauritius, tourists as well travel from different corners of the globe to profit from it. Well, this is the very reason for which Mauritius is famous – The Sun. Believe me or not, tourists who come from really cold countries such as UK and Germany really love the feeling of the sun caressing their skin. However, if much exposed to the sun, severe skin irritations can occur. It is therefore of utmost importance to be well protected from sunrays by applying solar balms and lotions. Especially kids need to be correctly taken care of since they have sensitive skins.
So, to enjoy the summer to the max, diving can be the best answer for you. If going into the blue at will doesn’t scare the heck out of you, then look for someone who rents scuba diving materials and head to the sea. The waters around Mauritius are one of the most breathtaking you will ever see. You will not want to stop till you get enough (if of course there’s a limit to get what you want!) For amateur divers, visiting the marine park at Blue Bay can be equally fun. Snorkeling equipments are just what will be needed to have an extraordinary time.
Mauritius has a lot more to offer. It is a dream destination to many. On the other hand it’s a first time discovery to others. In both cases, Mauritius is a place to see at all cost.
