Restaurants of Mauritius- where your eating desires mean something.

As we live in Mauritius we are referred to as the ‘full time holidayers’ by one and many. As this seems really true, it is not the case for many Mauritian fellows. As everywhere around the globe, here in Mauritius as well people have to work hard to earn their living. While some people earn lots of cash, others get a meager salary, enough to sustain a living and make both ends meet. People of the high society here in Mauritius are literally kings. When you are wealthy in Mauritius, it means the pleasures are here to be taken at will.

However, this doesn’t mean that the less earning person cannot enjoy.  Everyone has his own way of getting the best out of his life. The real beauty is when you see people having maximum fun although their limited spending power. Life is a gift. It’s therefore encouraging to witness people take life positively with all its problems and dilemmas. I will not get into this infinitely debatable subject because this post will never end and you will most probably get bored.

So, one common way many people find for their distraction is to take the whole family out for a treat in one of their favourite restaurants. Whichever the restaurant, if you are pleased with the way they serve you and most importantly if you like their food, then you have made the right choice. But there are some restaurants where you need to be careful before you decide to go and have lunch or dinner. I remember once I ate in a restaurant and fell ill some hours later. I got sore throat and needed medication to get back to normal. I guess the hygiene wasn’t too good, though it didn’t appear to be.

To restrain from getting into such a situation, I advise you take advice from many people about a particular restaurant before wanting to have your lunch or dinner there. Mauritius is a small island, yet full of superb restaurants to give you pure moments of joy. The scents would come searching for your nose and once there, you will suddenly feel a burning envy to eat the most desirable of dishes. Restaurants in Mauritius will make you have the wildest envies to eat and in the coming minutes shower you with dishes going beyond your expectations.

Have your dinners turned out a success here in Mauritius? Have the dishes pleased you so much that you’ve returned to that restaurant days later to taste more? I am eager to hear all your stories….so don’t hesitate and let the words flow!
